Just call again dude if they still don't answer then bring them to your shop and see what's up...
that sucks dude, would have expected more from them
unfortunetly everyone here gets wet for line so they most likely will defend the cpmpany over the consumer (99% of the time)
2010/2011 skis are already being made, so it's not the day they're pressed. It's normally 1 year from the date of PURCHASE if you buy them new from a shop. Sometimes it's only through the model year season though(forget which brands). LINE does it from date of purchase normally. Still, faulty core is 100% the makers fault.. You're right about the Liberties though.
i like line skis but their customer servicw sucks ass. I had a pair of blends delam to the core and they dicked around for weeks getting me new boards... they were SLOW to return calls and dragged their feet with their warranty.
I'd suggest going to the shop you got them from and really give them some heat. Let them know how few days you have on the skis before they broke. If they dont at least give you a pro deal (1/2 price on a pair of boards let them know that you will tell every single friend u have not to shop there.)
good luck that really sucks
Write some emails, make some calls, but whatever you do don't be a douche about it. If you're lucky (and I wouldn't be terribly surprised) they may come to the party and arrange you some new skis at cost or something.
Incidentally, almost the exact same thing happened to my Hellbents... ripped out a heel, had a new binding remounted in a different position and ripped that out after about 2 days. Unfortunately in my case it was because the heel had been slightly pulling out (bad core? Fat rider? Who knows) for quite some time and water had got into the core. At least they make an interesting conversation piece on my bedroom wall.
