Cuts/tears in pant??

does anyone else have these? i have about 10-15little cuts around my ankle, mostly on the inside side.where are they from, how do they get there, and how can i prevent my pants from getting torn up??

it happens to all pants. your ski edges tear them up. most pants have some sort of reinforced nylon patch to prevent it but it doesn't help that much. you can repatch your pants with the same material pretty easily if it bothers you that much

You can ski with your pants rolled up so that your boot is exposed. Every time you grab, you ski edge will hit your boot and not your pants.

This happened to me, but as time goes on it happens less and less. I just kept stitching up the slits and now there good as new.

probably from edges but also could be from clipping your pant into your binding. i do it all the time

it could also be from your pants going under the heel of your boot when your walking. i do it all the time

Could also be when I cut my steaks up with my carving knife. I use the pants as a cutting board.

im getting pissed at my pants because i have worn them like 8 times and they're ripping at the crotch

This has happened to the last 2 pairs of my ski pants.

IDK why they rip so easily there, I guess its a high stress area.
