skied it today and it sucked my left nut...the setup was a 3 foot wide by 8 ft butter box to a wierd ass like 6ft half kink rail setup mad urban style, the other side featured the rainbow box with the lip of the jump about 5 inches below a pretty much rideon start to a likewise shitty setup flAT UP FLAT box that you pretty much couldnt get on with mad pop and noway could u 270 easily...the latter half of the setup almost screwed me when i tried to pop and my ski got stuck underneath the frong lip of the rainbow...my brother was unluckiest though and snapped his ski on the flat up flat same way i screwed up...the quad also stopped working at about 2...soooo yah if the park crew is on here, no offense but it could use some work
I was wondering what the jumps on were like...now I know haha. The jib park usually gets a little better farther into the season, we'll see. The park crew SHOULD be on NS, they could learn a lot.
Have rarely been impressed by the park at Bolton, only time it's nice is on Wed night when they have the slope style comps, then it seems like they just let it goto shit immediately.
yah it always seems that besides alice (i think thats her name) who is incharge, the rest of the crew is usually snowboarders and you know how they set the lips and shit up hahah
oh well thats why i got a stowe pass for most of my riding this year haha
Yeah i totally agree I went up there on a thursday last year and the lips of all teh jumps had windblown snow on them and the park wasnt groomed very disapointing
Their large park is a bit better but the lips of all their jumps are usually pretty shitty. The only reason to go is really because they have night skiing. I'll update this thread every time Bolton adds or changes a feature.
