So im sure this has been mentioned before but holy hell.

Yeah, it's cool that you're trying to hook people up, but the reason they kept hating was because you kept on plugging your shop. They just don't like that.

TGR isn't huge fans of people trying to trade gear and such until you get some posts in here and there and they feel they can trust you.

You can find some pretty sick deals over at TGR tho...and most of the vets give good deals to....also they're lot easier to deal with then most of the kids on here.

TGR guys hate on idiots, so when you're a fucking idiot, you're gonna get hated on. since there's very very little moderation over there the only way to keep the forums from sinking into NSG level is by not tolerating bullshit and idiocy. it pisses me off when ns kids make threads on tgr, get hated on, then start bitching out tgr guys in that thread, finally get owned and fed up, and come to NS and bitch about how much they hate tgr

this whole thing goes back to the stretching tall tee thread where ns felt it necessary to take the thread seriously and turn it into a shitstorm. 3/4 of tgr is sarcasm, and the rest is incredible skiing knowledge and a community of ridiculously helpful people who love skiing

spamming for your shop is exactly what it sounds like, no matter how you frame it, and tgr does not take kindly to that. if you want to be successful over there and not get torn apart, spend time lurking before you post, never snap and start screaming at people when they make a sarcastic comment about your XXXXL hoodie you posted for sale there, and don't fucking bitch about tgr on ns, i'm getting sick and tired of it

I like both sites, but like the guy above me said, dont be a fucking idiot and people wont treat you like one....most of the people on TGR are grown men and I don't blame them for getting annoyed at immature little newschoolers that come to the site and bitch. But honestly I get some really good info from that site and when it comes down to buying and selling its way better to deal with TGR. Transactions are smooth and made right away, no waiting to get their parents paypal account or something...and most guys offer and then pay, on here you gotta go thru like 50 PM's to finish a deal. TGR is just a way different crowd and mostly older shredders...the reviews in tech talk and threads in the forums are all usually good reads and full of information....If your looking to join the TGR community just dont be a fool, contribute solid information and you will eventually get to like the community over there as I have.

If you want to 'survive' on TGR you have to realize it is way more of a comunity then this site is. If you read around the site before you post (try the stickies) you will discover quite a bit. As stated earlier they have to moderate themselves to keep it from becoming a gaggle fuck. Instead of being able to deleate spam (the shit in the blue can) they just come down supper harsh on the bullshit. If you want it to be a sucsess you will have to help the community out. Maggot deals are a good and easy place to start.
