Head edge 9.7 vs. salomon x wave (older boots)

i can get the heads for 100 bucks or the salomons for 200, pretty advanced skier, ski park and all mountain so im looking for a boot that can do both. have always had tecnicas but i figure the heads would be a real good deal. any thoughts/advice? thanks guys
