Goggles and defogging??

I bought a new pair of spy soldiers i have no idea what year they are but im pretty sure there recent. after skiing with them they became blurry, i dont know if it was fog or just the lens being wet on the inside. i went to the spy website and found that new lenses are $30+ anyone have a cheaper home made solution or something i can get at the local ski shop. perferably not having to order something online.

Was the fog inside, outside, or in between the lens?  I got fog in between on my soldiers last year and it was becasue I did not let them dry out after a snowy day and stuck them in my bag.  No way to get rid of that other than letting them sit out for a day.

perhaps try seadrops if the fog is on the inside....

spit works just as well, just not as hygienic..

For The Record it was mostly on the inside...it seemed like it was the moisture on the inside that was doing it cause they were blurry not foggy. i would wipe it off but i would be in the same boat 10 minutes later.

try seadrops or smearing something else on the inside, that way water won't condense on the lens...

Liquid soap works amazing if it's on the inside. You probably have some laying around, so it's defiantly a lot cheaper then going and getting a specific anti-fog product.

Never wipe the inside of gogles.... LEAVE IT ALONE you are wiping away the antifog layer

clearly there is no anti-fog layer otherwise it wouldn't fog....
(or it just sucks and it won't matter if you smear thing onto it...)

RJ for the liquid soap would i just put it on now and let it dry or put it on and then wipe it off before i go skiing?
