A quick word on blocking ads

Okay....last season about mid way through I bought some new boots. Ever since then they have been a pain in the ass to get on! The two top clips on each boot are so hard to press on to get to clip in. I can do it but the boots I had before where no problem at all. Is they like a oil or something I can put on the clips to make them snap easier?
