Need help with drops

After hitting the local mountain for the first time this season I saw that a lot odfdrops have been made here and there. I tried a few but failed at all on the landings. Most of the drops are not big...I'd say they range from 4-7ft. Any tips of how to come in and land into these?

keep your momentum solid and balanced. If its heavier snow lean back more on the landings and power through it. and keep your weight forward and balance going off to ensure a solid jump

sorry, but i dont get how you dont land off a lil drop? not really hating, but i mean keep your hands in front of you, and pop off of it alil bit to keep you from landing backseat.

keeping your hands in front of you is one of the most important things, if you force your hands to stay forward itll in turn bring your weight forward in your boots you just gotta stay aggresive. and when you jump in the beginning at least, bring your knees a bit to your chest so your legs arent flaying and out of control, stay compact bring your legs down and stomp it. at 4-7 there shouldnt be a backslap or anything just stay foward and ride it out clean.

It took me a little while to figure out drops but, there is a little trick. It's scary to take more speed into it, but you don't want to be going too slow. When you go too slow almost all of your momentum is being pushed down, whereas when you carry a little more speed, your momentum is not only down, but also forwards, providing for a very smooth landing. Speed is a much bigger factor in drops than most people think.

as Seth taught us, Landing gear up, Landing gear down...

Suck your knees to your chest while you are in the air, then deliberately put your skis down when you aer ready to land.
