fucking sucks. all my first year courses are good, except gayass fucking math100. im not going to ever take math again.

Don't worry dude I needed 36% in my math exam to pass my year and after the exam I wasn't even sure I'd get the 36% but in the end I got 66% anyways so it's all good have a bit of faith!

haha thats sick you got 66%. i was in computer science but i hated it. i got through it but i didnt really like it so im in social sciences now, just taking some broad courses. my next semester is:

Earth and Ocean Sciences
pyschology
economics
astronomy
english (by the looks of my posts i might fail this too)

yeah i dunno, im not horrible in math. i got A's until now. i think i just got to university and realized how much you actually learn in the classroom isnt anything compared t what you have to learn out of it.

so, to any of you guys going to university next year, dont expect to learn more then 20% of the course material in the class room. you really gotta read your books and use youtube tutorials.

i dunno, its the hardest 1st year university math you can take at UVic. one of my midterms had a class average of 40%. i guess you're just super smart.

math 100 is fucking hard. Calculus is such a pain in the ass. I dropped to math 102, which is applied calc and I still failed (I stopped going to class/exams though)

to original poster, What school do you go to?

i did fine in calc in high school but i have no desire to take a class on it ever again, and in my major you could get around it, so i took a test to place out of one of the required maths and took linguistics for the second part

i took college calc this last semester and did fine...started slacking off near the end of the semester and dropped from a 93 to an 87....oh well i switched my major to Recreation Management...way more interesting classes to me...and i get to ski 5 days a week...

well i mean.. it depends on where you go to high school and college. all my friends who took the same calc in high school as me told me the college calc was way easier (at the college i go to and others)

find the integral of: lnx^e^x^cosx/4+sinx^tanx
