Do you have to drive far to ski?

personally i have to drive like an hour and 45 mins.
its not cool when i get a serious midweek craving for skiing.

are most people this far from thier hill?

depends
If i go to the catskills which is if about 3 or 4 times a year now it is 1hour and 1/2. If i go to vt it can be 3-7 hours depends, usually 3 though. I have friends who live in west rutland so i go there and make a weekend out of it and go to okemo

my home mountain is at like 25 minutes for my home and I often go to another one which is at a hour distance from my home. I guess it's not that bad.

my whole life I have been 15 mins from a super pipe, and a decent park. And 1.5-3 hours from awesome mountains like kicking horse, Lake louise, Castle, Fortress and Sunshine.

Now I live 3 hours from the nearest hill. Any other hills I have to take a ferry to get to (but that means whistler so w/e)

5-10 minute drive depending on traffic. 15-25 minute bus ride, again depending on traffic. Did I mention it's open for night skiing too?

45 minutes to my local small hill, and then about 3 if i wanta go to breck, 2 1/4 to vail.. not bad i guesss. 

someday i plan to live on the hill, so these few years of sacrafice will be worth it to make that dream come true!!!

somewhere between 7-and 11 minutes to bristol mountain, and they have night skiing.

if i rallied im sure i could do it in under 5 minutes.

its bull shit for me

1. an hour to any kind of hill

2. 3 hours too any thing with more then 15 runs

3. 10 hours to a good place like killington or mont tremblant like 8 or 9 hours

5 minutes from home mountain(park sucks ass, but fun anyways)

and then 25min to the next best park.
there are 4 mountain within 30 minutes of me

mount snow is 1 hour 25min. away

the mountain i go to during the week is about 20 minutes away and the mountain i go to on weekends is an hour and a half away but from the cottage its about a 5 minute drive
