Making kids story for final

I had to do this once and my characters name was Bradley Bear haha.

Abdul Adl is the kids name. It means Servant of the Just. I assume that he will be the protagonist.

The river would most likely be either the Tigris, Euphrates, or Indus.

The name of the story could be, "The Little Muslim Boy That Could"


We're trying to be culturally accepting here so try to use diverse peoples who we might perceive as "scary" because they have different customs than us. If we become accepting of Muslims the terrorists may realize that we Americans are nice and benevolent and accepting.

The River Bend

Features Stu Hefernan, a young, black boy raised by a single mother who taught him that littering by the river hurts the earth. Also, Stu is in a wheelchair.

The story entails Stu drinking a bottle of soda on his way home one day, in a rush to see his favorite aunt who is visiting him. Stu isn't allowed to drink soda, so he decides just once that he'll throw the bottle onto the bank of the river. After all, one bottle can't hurt anyone right?

Wrong, Stu. Very wrong. Stu is ridden with guilt, and the final straw is when his aunt tells him she's proud of how he's maturing into such a good Jewish boy, and that he never does anything wrong, like litter. Stu returns to the river bank and finds that the river has turned greenish brown, obviously dying of litter. The river is never the same again. Stu lives with his guilt for weeks until finally confessing to his mother that he had littered and it was his fault. Stu's mother smacks him around the head and tells him not to be a wisenheimer. She shows him the news, and Stu finds that a waste management company's water main that runs near the river had broken, and sewage had been running into the river. Stu feels better, and vows to never litter again.
