I have the ti's too but I would challenge someone to land that far forward on what sounds like a pretty icy landing without ripping a binding out

EXACTLY. The binding is not designed to release like that. In fact its actually your break that will cause most of the rip out.

And when a binding rips out.. it's partly the skis fault. soft core = easier pull outs.

I've pulled all 6 screws from a Salomon heel out of a Kung Fujas. Its not the skis fault, its the skier.

1. my right ski released inadvertanly in mid air. causing me to have to land that way. u can barely see in the video that the right ski is released in mid air
2. only the heel piece ripped out. the track is still there

I see. In this case your going to need a new Heel track. I have seen this happen to several of the dynastar px12 look-a-likes.

also a valid point. How long have you had the skis? a coreshot or construction separation somewhere may be to blame

It's my third season on them but I have rode them less than 20 days

Pullouts are inevitable sometimes, especially when landing backwards, get your shit fixed and get over it.

Everything rips out at some point, it's kinda like farting; it's a part of life and at some point you just have to learn to deal with it.

I dont think the ski matters since the track is still completely intact. The plastic that connects the titanium part of the binding to the track shattered. It was the piece that sits in the track that shattered. I posted this only since I figured its a good POV of something we all wish would never happen during a great day of skiing.

your problem lies in your pre-drop statement, "theres a good chance i'll fall"
cant go into a jump with that attitude
all jokes aside, good call. i hate when im followed by some dick when i'm trying something new or what im not comfortable with
