East Coast Air Bag

Yo kiddos, looks like Windham in NY and Liberty in PA are getting air bags this year. Anyone know of any other mountains (preferably closer to VT) purchasing them this year. I would love to try a double front on one of these before I am forced to do it on snow.

Blue Mountain in PA just got one too, that place is a fucking zoo though so I'd expect it never to be open/usable

It's going to cost 10 dollars a day to use it at blue and 50 for a season and no inverts on it. gay. Oh and doesn't really bug me but you can get your pass pulled if you sag your pants there.

for all you blue mt kids, i was talking to park crew the other night, $25 per 5 hour session and $125 for a pass for the year is what i was told, but i havent seen anything on paper yet, so dont hold me to that. also, the no invert policy is basically just to prevent kids from hitting the thing and just seeing how many backflips they can toss. corks, rodeos, misties, etc should all be fine. they're trying to have it open for the week between christmas and new years.

yep, its ridiculous. at windham last year i was doin some flips and got kicked off. atr the same time there were 7 year olds comin into the jump hot, with skis bouncing all over the place, and then gettin flipped backwards by the compression of the jump.

i agree that it is messed up not to allow inverts on these considering that that is what they are made for... oh well.

and with the exception of a few people it was mostly all little kids and 35 year olds doing daffy's.

Thought you guys might want to know about www.theairbag.ca as we might be operating close to Vermont (Orford, Sutton and Bromont).

We're based out of Montreal and basically offer an airbag service to East Coast ski resorts that don't already have an airbag. Newschoolers checked us out at Sutton on the 20th December and declared us legit. https://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/readnews/id/3057/

And yes, we totally allow inverts. Double corks all the way! Checkout our latest session from last Sunday at Stoneham resort in Quebec. We're trying our hardest to bring the airbag to as many riders as possible.
