STHs will be lighter, PX12 will be more durable...

I'd personally go with the STHs (I'd ride the 16 - but that's just me) because they'll be lighter - but again that's just me.

i have salomon sth 12s and a pair of look bindings on my other skis. I would immediatley choose look bindings over salomon ones. Px 12s would be a solid choice. you cant really go wrong with look/dynastar/rossi style bindings ive been much happier with them than my salomons

both are solid binders, but i would go with the looks because of their durability
