GoPro Contest Concerns

I'm curious if people that simpley used photoshop and Google images should be able to win. There are TONS of entries right now that are just pictures put on top of other pictures: no effort involved. I thought the contest was supposed to be actual pictures of people doing funny and creative stuff with their stand-in cameras. I also think that a member should not be allowed to vote if they are in the contest. Just some thoughts. Discuss.

i like the idea of not being able to vote if you enter...but that would be impossible. why not just wait until the last day to enter?

as for photoshopping...i think its just a matter of convenience. I think the idea should be the biggest factor. some ideas might be too epic to actually catch on film...its the GoPro footage that would actually give the idea traction and meaning. not a picture of that idea with a person wearing a fake go pro

Except when people do that, we see it, and consider it cheating, so those votes are automatically deleted.

If people want to photoshop their entries then that's okay, but you have a much better chance at winning if you don't.

Yeah, people should remember that in the end it comes down to a vote of the NS and GoPro staff... so lame photoshop entries won't do the trick.

You gotta put effort in if ya wanna win!

And I feel like people should be allowed to upload their entries on only Monday-Tuesday cuz it's too easy to submit one's entry the morning of Friday and vote it a 10, knocking all of the other entries that have 60+ votes out
