team norway is the same....
team sweden ... i dont really think scherlin deserves to be in joss
team europe elias ambuhl and jacob wester .... isnt that kind of a second team sweden/norway .... there are other countrie in europe ....
First. The part about picking Teams for JOSS is the worst thing about organizing this event, its not fun at all, but I try my best to make everyone happy!
Teams
I saw that there was a bit of confusion as a few people thought that these three teams previously announced where the only teams at JOSS- Not True!
This is the complete list of teams at JOSS 2010.
1. Sweden
2. Norway
3. Europe
4. USA
5. Newschoolers
6. Canada
7. Down Under
8. Japan
Riders from each country will be announced as soon as the invited riders has confirmed.
Other countries
There was a lot of comments saying that a few nations where being favored and others not getting any skiers at all. When you have to limit the amount of people you invite this will always be a problem. I tried my best to give everyone a chance with the “qual system” to Team Europe, if they where that good, then they had the chance to qualify.
Jacob
So why is Jacob not in team Swenden?
Basically because the Jacob that was with me at JOSS last year didn’t seem to like skiing and not appreciate the event, he complained about most features and did not try very hard. I though that Sweden was better represented by someone who wanted to be at JOSS.
But luckily I think we have all seen that Jacob has this fall come back to the old Jacob that skis hard, tries new tricks and gives the events his best.
Earning him a well deserved spot in Team Europe.
I am very happy to see Jacob back in that mind set as he is one of the most talented skiers out there, if he keeps this up, him and Elias will be a dangerous team!
Oscar
Since I check all comments I saw that a few people thought that there was other skiers better suited for the other Swedish spot. But I guess these people did not see Oscars performance at JOI last year, his switch 12 Double mute was one of the best trick of all year last year in my opinion. This landed him the 3rd place at the event which is far above what any other Swede has so far achieved.
I agree that it’s pretty far in between the times that Oscars kills it, but when he does ski good, its very good.
Think that was about it, hope you see where I am coming from!
JON
hahaha team japan...what a smart move, gona be fun to watch!
