im getting more into urban stuff this winter and was wondering what was needed to prepare cement/ concrete ledges to make them slidable? wax? ice? any suggestions that are on topic would be greatly apprectiated
Grind down your skis with like a buffer spinner thing, or a nail file. then wax the fuck out of the concrete. Dude metal rails are so much more fun, i suppose its preference.. but unless you have a SHIT pair of twinners then stick to the metal.
ya true, its just there are some epic ledges in the area where im going to school and not really any good rails that we have found yet. and what kind of wax?
any type of skateboard wax works best, just go down the nearest skate shop and pick some up. Candle wax is OK, but not great, but it'll work if you don't have skate wax and it's 1AM and you can't find anything else.
