i second that. i used to love pac so much until I actually started listening to Biggie alot. IMO Pac's songs seem too commercial, but that's just my opinion.

actually the enitre statement is false. just because you are dead does not make you the greatest MC ever. and besides the fact that it is all opinion it is impossible to say who is the best becuase there are so many different aspects of hip hop. lyrical mc's, gangsta rap, party, mainstream, entertainers etc...

so what aspect are we going for here?

i don't think Biggie's the best of all time cause he's dead... In fact, i'd say if he and pac weren't dead mainstream hip-hop wouldn't be what it is today. It wouldn't lack meaning.

Ya he was just years ahead of his time making songs about issues other people were too pussy to talk about. Ask any rapper listed in this thread who his top three are and im sure almost all of them will include pac. He made brought hip hop into the public eye in a prolific way
