Bad first day......?

so last saterday was my hills opening day. after a great openig day it took a bad turn when i called last run... just a simple rail last feature slipped off hit me knee and now im on crutches and am out for three weeks. just wanted to see if there are any more stories like mine....

same here but my shin on a c-rail, i hit my shin, but my boots werent very tight so my heel lifted a bit so i had this huge ass bruise right were i flexed forward so i was out for2 days, but not like you on crutches. +vibes

never ever call last run. last time i did three years ago, broke my collarbone biking. ever since then its been 2 more skip the last. im so superstitious now

Not sure this counts but we got a huge dump back in October and kids down the street from me built a jump in their front yard.  We were getting towed in by their Suburban.  Last jump I tried to back flip it and came up a little short.  If you need a laugh and haven't seen it, it's in my videos. Took landing hill to gut and bruised my ribs.  It took about a month and a half to feel right again.  That was technically my first day of the season on snow I guess.

i landed sideways bad on my first day and i felt like if it was any worse my knee would have been toast

its just sore now tho

I Broke my collarbone on my first day two years ago. Then I didn't wait enough and went back skiing like 3-4 weeks after and broke it again. I did not progress at all that season and it was the I worst ever had

2nd time out this year found a mini roller I could try fronts off. I got around, but landed on in the back seat. It hurt like a bitch. I'm pretty sure I pulled my calf muscle. It took about three days to walk normally again.

Not as good as Yours, OP

that sucks, hope you have a speedy recovery, last time I called last run i broke my leg, and time before that was my elbow. and time before that was a broken arm... 2 surgeries later.... I dont call last runs... LoL

yeah so just talked to the doctor again. they missed something. my knee has a fracture after w eek of thinking about getting backthere this weekend has to wait anohter 4-6
