This was the closing paragraph of my good friend's valedictorian speech:

As we move on into the future, you will find that this is no longer a joint effort. You will be on your own to blaze a new trail. I’ll be blunt, you are going to take some big hits but don’t panic, just roll with the punches, take a deep breath, hold it in and let it out slowly. Life is not going to bowl you over. I know this class and I know that you will rise to the occasion and soar above the clouds, because you guys are all hungry for success. Right now, the future might look a little hazy, but don’t stress about it, just relax and enjoy the trip.

Gyrados: is it pronounced Jai-ra-dos or Gear-a-dos? I've always gone with the latter.

Honestly it was incredible. I proof read it for him so I knew it was coming. A few other of our friends knew ahead of time. Then there were some people who caught on to it in the middle. We all laughed our asses off. The best were those oblivious to it and were confused as to why we were all laughing at this kid's very heart warming speech.

sidenote- At our school the administration needs to approve all the speeches before hand, this kid got it by all the big guns without them figuring it out.
