I get out of school this thursday and i'm going up to stowe with a bunch of family on saturday. they seem pretty well open and i hear they've gotten a decent amount of snow, but how is it up there? i dont care about park, just looking for terrain and fun shit, also what good trails are open. i'm pissed i'm going so early in the season that i can't hit waterfall, unless there's an ass load of snow there, but either way just wondering how it is from you stowe folk
im really enjoying stowe right now...the glades and trees have been beautiful...the woods off of Toll road have been good and if you can find anything off of the gondola just dip into the woods
yeah stowe has shaped up real nice considering its only been open like 2 weeks, some spots are a little thin, and some lines in the woods aren't filled in yet (alot of the really good ones dont open up til the small alpine trees get buried) but its still real sick
i was up there sunday and it was pretty good considering they havent been open long. the woods are pretty suspect cause the base is thin but they were getting dumped on while i was there. the front 4 except the top of national were open. waterfall also looked surprisingly somewhat hittable.
