Armada JJ where to mount?

Gday Newschoolers,

Long time reader first time writer I have just purchased the new JJ's 185cm(very last pair in oz) am heading to Japan for the season and just wanted to get few opinions on where to mount, I am 6'2" 88 kgs(196 pounds)  I love skiing powder not interested in park  but like trying the all the tricks on natural terrain and BC kickers(landing switch hence my question where to mount) btw am mounting Jesters on the JJ's any thoughts?, and pls no stupid replies  thank you

i have JJs with griffins mounted recommended. Still lands and skis switch in pow fine. I wouldnt move them up farther since the sidecut on them is so damn short and the turning radius is so short. They have like an 11 meter turning radius on them or something wild like that so i'd just keep them at rec. Still skis dope

I would go with recommended.  They designed the ski around that measurement and on a ski with that crazy of a shape and unique feel, I would mount there or not very far off of it.  I've skied it at recommended and loved it.

for example jacob wester has them -3 from true center --> +2cm from recommended...so i think all between truecenter -3 till true center -6 is ok!

definitely at recommended, jj's have such a short radius with the tapered tip and tail that mounting anywhere else will seriously throw off the radius

I have mine +2 and it feels like i mounted them at the perfect point.

Use the factory recommended. or -2.5 cm, thats what i recommend to most skiers that come to  my shop and buy armadas.
