Really... I do not condone adultery/cheating on your wife, but Tiger is losing big corporate sponsorships and he is being blasted by everyone who has an opinion. The guy is not the first famous person to cheat on his wife, doesn't he deserve a break yet?
Athletes/Celebrities are not the same as the president. America did not 'vote' that Tiger should be the best golfer, and have enormous endorsements. That being said, from a business standpoint companies don't exactly want to see their image go downhill because of a player that represents their company. Unfortunitely, consumers relate big stars like him to the image of the company, and the companies only chance at saving face, and trying to not lose too much profit is by dropping him.
exactly, people seem to be neglecting the fact that he did EVERYTHING wrong after the news of the car accident initially came out. Fuck him, he doesn't get to make his own rules when it comes to public perception.
dude, he cheated on a swedish model, to fuck a pornstar, and a hooker, not that great of a decision. but i would probably do the same thing aswell haha
Can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing, and this is just my opinion, but I lost some respect for Tiger after all this shit.
Cheating is easy and he never seamed like a guy who would take the easy way out. Of course I never knew him obviously so I can't comment on his character. All the best to him, hope he gets his life together, but its hard to feel sorry for a guy who made 100 million dollars last year for doing something that costs most people thousands of dollars a year and is considered relaxation.
I know of companies whose entire image is based around Tiger Woods - with captions like "integrity" and so on (things his name used to stand for) - who now have to reevaluate their entire public relations stand and deal with it.... And this isn't like Nike who can keep him or drop him, having a ton of other athletes under their wings, I'm talking real companies (outside of sports) who sponsored Tiger and only Tiger, and now he's walking away from the Pro tour "indefinitely", putting the company's image at stake and possible losing them hundreds of millions in business if not more
