Fisheye for 40D

So I'm looking for suggestions with pros and cons for a fisheye for me 40D. Not a converter, a real lens. My buddy on here (FRODO.) has the Tokina 10-17, I've been thinking that's a good choice. Any other suggestions?

Another nice thing about the Tokina 10-17 is that it can fit with any crop sensor (1.6 and 1.3) and even full frame. My vote stands for that lens. If you're simply looking for a wide angle though, go with the Canon 17-40 f/4L. Incredible quality, literally zero distortion and almost no vignetting. Very high quality.

With the 1.6x crop factor there aren't a lot of options. The Tokina fisheye is the best bang for your buck fisheye for this camera. There is a Sigma 10mm f2.8 that I've heard is pretty good also but pricey.

Nikon 10.5mm. Yes you heard me right. It's an awesome lens and canon users use nikon lenses regularly. I have one for sale if you're interested. Check my threads.

I have the 10mm on my 40D and I love it. I have been using it for skating, snowboarding, skiing, and even portraits. Its really good quality lens. only downside is its for 1.6 crop only I believe

I don't. I shoot nikon but I'm sure they're out there somewhere. When I was doing my research on the lens I remember reading about a lot of canon users buying them because it was the perfect price point for them. Try flickr.

I'm thinking the Tokina, seems to be the best for the value. Upgradable to full frame for later, nice sharpness and not totally limiting. Thoughts?
