Boot condensation

I tried searchbarring, but how do you guys keep your boot liners from getting wet? Mine are always wet on the inside after skiing.

If the condensation is in between the liner and the shell, just take the liners out of the boot at the end of the day...

If the wetness is on the inside of the liner, the wetness is actually probably sweat (unless your somehow getting snow inside your boot), which you really can't avoid, it happens a lot when your skiing on warmer days. It can be annoying (and quite smelly), but the best way to get it out of there is to use a boot dryer at the end of the day.

I have the same problem with my full tilts. I thought it was water at first but then later realized my feet sweat a lot. Pretty gross I know but after every day on the hill my liners are fairly wet. I tried stuff like spraying antiperspirant on my feet and different socks but nothing really seemed to work. So I just bought a boot dryer and I dry my boots overnight after skiing. I also spray them a little bit with an antimicrobial fabric freshener. Just try to avoid letting them sit around wet for too long cause they will start to smell.

The boot dryer I bought was a Peet Dryer. It works really well, doesnt make any noise, and was only like 20 or 30 dollars. I think it comes with a 25 year warranty too. I use it for my gloves too. Hope this helps

Snow might be getting into your boots and condensing inside, in which case a piece of masking tape over the front shell join near the toe of the boot will help. Although, part of it will definitely be caused by sweat, just take your liners out at the end of each day.

Its definitely sweat, and possibly me taking my hot feet out of the boots and riding home with them in the 20 degree cold causing condensation in the already hot and moist boot liner.
I just hate getting my liners back in, but I guess that is the fate of my ski boots. I love hiking the park when I am stoked and learning new tricks so my feet sweat really bad.

go out and buy a boot warmer - they're not that expensive and they will dry out the liners and they can even help keep the outside of the liner/inside of the shell dry too.
