I would say ask ur Dad if you can drive it because if you crash and you didnt tell him, then your fucked. But that car pretty much drives its self. All the fools in this thread have started a hate on rich people, and just assume that if you have money then you're a spoiled bitch are dumb. They are more than likely just jealous because they don't have a luxury car. If you're so jealous about not being rich, then do something about it to make it happen for yourself. I'm not rich, I don't hate on rich people and i know plenty of people with money who are not spoiled bitches.

hahaha this reminds me of the time my cousin and i took my dads ferrari for a trip when they were out of town for 3 weeks. my dad had a 355 spyder black. pretty tight car. well my cousin and i decided to take it, i was 17 he was 21, both dumb as fuck. we drove it to miami where our family had a condo, stayed there for 3 days and drove home. only reason my dad found out was because we got the oil changed at the dealership in miami and he saw it on the credit card bill. So would i do it with an LS 460, no, but thats because ive had one and it was nice, but nothing worth "stealing" and joyriding.

haha no, it was my card under my moms amex account. and well, my dad pays my moms account so technically yes. but that was before they cut the cord on me financially haha.


^and to B-runge that was in no way an attempt to dwarf his "richness" my mom has a subaru and my dad has an FJ cruiser that they drive around, he used to have the ferrari but no more, it got sold when i turned 20. his parents are probably more "ballin" than mine in the LS 460 and escalade.

and when i said i owned one, i mean the company (i was VP) owned it, not my parents. i got to drive it whenever i want, same with alot of other cars.

I hate all of you haha, I havn't gotten to sleep tonight cuz i was partying, now ive kinda sobered up so its still "night" for me even though its 6:42 am. And i only got 3 hours of sleep the night before that so plzzzzzzz give me a break.... i feel like im about to cry from sleep depravation over the last 2 weeks haha

He wasn't claiming hard at all. Go back and reread the thread. He never said anything about his car until asked. And what the fuck is he supposed to do when someone asks him what car it is? Lie and say that it's a shitty car to make you guys feel better about yourselves?

When I read the thread, I was like "Oh shit, that's a nice car, sick"

And look at the mega house claim thread. The posts started out as "That's sick, Congrats, I wish I had that." before people realized that it was fake.

So what his parents have nice cars? That doesn't make him spoiled.

But in all fairness then doesn't it get put into question his morals and integrety as a person when he is going behind his dads back to take his car?, what are some characteristics of a "spoiled rich kid" as one would put it?

-Taking things that arn't their own.
-Not being happy with what they have (driving an escalade)
-Going around others to get what they want
-Not thinking of the consequences of their actions (losing license, hitting someone uninsured, getting caught)

I have never personally met the OP so i have no basis besides this thread to make any judgement call on his personality or characteristics. Furthermore from what other members of the site have posted in here supporting him give me further grounds to think infact that he is a good kid. However if he is having to make this thread in the first place asking "whether to steal his dads car and drive it uninsured without his knowldege".... I think he already knows the right answer.


Now could someone please bring me a stool so I can get off my high horse?

Those can also be characteristics of kids who aren't spoiled or rich (minus the escalade)

It's the same concept of people making "Got the house to myself, what kind of party?" threads. Doesn't make them spoiled.

Going for a joyride in your dad's car isn't exactly the worst thing you can do. In fact, having a underage party at your house where there is alcohol is MUCH worse. I know a kid who hosted a party with like 10 kids in his house while his parents were away. one kid got drunk in the house and got seriously injured on his way home. The parents of the kid throwing the party got in so much legal trouble.

At least killabees has his license, so he knows how to drive.

eh true, but driving un-insured is a BIG issue these days, and you will get fucked for not having it in some states. i must have read over that you dont have insurance on his car. dont do it, its not worth it... its only a lexus after all. escalade is more ballin than that anyway, just go roll around in that...

In all fairness then the only difference between being a "spoiled kid" and a "spoiled rich kid" then are a few 0's at the end of mommy or daddy's paycheck. The whole concept of just not being thankful for what you have or what you have accessible to you is the route cause of being "spoiled". Would it be so hard for the OP to get his dad to ensure him on the car once he got back? If the answer is yes then the OP may in fact be spoiled. Just an observation though.

I understand what your getting at. The op just doesn't seem spoiled to me based off this thread.

To vincepru, I don't know much about insurance and such because I don't have a car, so I didn't realize how big of an issue it was.

Maybe it's just the way I interpreted the thread, I didn't see it as taking the car for an all out speed drive. I read it more like him just wanting to drive around with the car.

Ok this is an extremely vague example of what could happen and dont' hold me to it because i am by NO means an expert

Anyone caught driving uninsured can face penalties in the region of $500 as well as six points on their driving licence. There is also a risk that the car may be impounded with typical collection costs in the region of $400, plus storage fees. Drivers may also face court action, particularly if they are repeat offenders. If they are in an accident then they will be fully resposible for any medial payments or financial charges applied to the vehicle. If you are caught without proper insurance it can go onto you record and many companies will be able to access this and view that you were in an incident while driving uninsured.

So basically not worth it

2.  have you ever drove an escalade?  escalades fucking suck to drive.  when he said it was a boat, he means it drives like its fucking huge, which it is.  i hated driving it when i had to.

are we talking about the old or the new ones here? ive driven an old one and agree. but i had a new one and disagree, but i did have the shorter wheelbase one. i really liked the way the new one drove, fast as fuck too for a big ass suv.

like 06 i think.  its so jumpy, and its not the way i drive cause i dont have the same problem in my saab.  idk if its cause i only drove it when i was really young, and inexpirenced, but i hated the way it drove compared to my car, and all the other ones ive driven.
