Obama hopes to raise the national debt ceiling (the amount of money the federal government can borrow) by 1.8 trillion dollars. This means our federal government would be borrowing AT LEAST 50 cents for every dollar spent this upcoming year. Now, that's change we can believe in.

hahha. saw this on drudge a few days ago. If you have a problem, don't think about how best to fix it, just throw a shitload of money at it and hope it goes away. That's what Tiger did with his bitches, right? I'm sure Pelosi is going wild, she can now afford to spend money on double the amount of flowers she bought last year. And don't forget where the money comes from. It's like there is a hose connected to the collective back pocket of American citizens. What happens when the flow runs out? Oh and also, while the rest of us get pay cuts, government employees just got a pay increase. Shows how with us they are. Politicians should make whatever the median income of the population as a whole is, but these crooks and hacks make buttloads of money and get fat ass pensions while the rest of us scrounge for extra dough to support families and pay for school. something isn't right.
