OK I have the Armada Inverse Jacket coming and I have got the Plasma pant. Now layering up the jacket is going to be fine but im worried about the warmth of having the plasma pant as apart from wearing thermals what else can you layer up on downstairs. I have the HH Warm Thermals which are pretty toasty but I'm not sure I'm going to be warm enough all season long. Im going to be skiing in Interior BC this season so its pretty wet and cold.
Now I have some pants that are like a 20k shell type not sure how many layers im guessing more than 1 but dont know. But they have a lot of fleece around the ass and a liner and I wasnt cold in them but they seem warmer than the Plasma Pants. Also I dont know how durable the pants are gonna be with the fact I'm going to have to work and ski 100+ days this season in these pants I dont wanna ruin a $400 pair of pants. ( Im ski instructing so gonna have gaper kids crashing into me )
Anyway I was wondering what people think. Am I gonna be warm enough in thermals and plasma pants and are they gonna get wrecked or are they gonna take a bit of a beating.
Or I could get the Air Raid pants which are 20k and have a bit of insulation and fleece and gonna give me some extra warmth. Also might not be as flimsy as shell pants and wont cost as much to replace if they get wrecked. Also being a beanpole having suspender thingys would be nice and keep me a bit drier.
Or I could get the Arestino pant which is only 15k but is insulated and would keep me warmer.
Im open to any other suggestions as well but I just want some plain black pants, loose oakley style fit, preferably 20k with some insulation.
