I searchbarred and didn't find anything so I thought I'd ask: Why do companies wait so long to drop their lines?
I was just reading the ON3P shipping thread and nobody has their skis - ON3P was setting up their factory so they don't count, but what about companies like Saga? I mean, I can't imagine it takes them all spring and summer to design new lines and set everything up and have it made. Why don't these lines drop in early October so that everyone has their stuff in November and December for the start of the season?
I would also think it'd make sense for companies to drop their lines earlier, rather than later. If you needed a suit for the preseason, you'd have to buy one that would get to you in time, and wouldn't have the luxury of waiting. I don't know, I just feel like being the first one to drop your line would get you out there and people that have money burning a hole in their pocket for ski stuff would be more likely to give you their business. Just my 2 cents...
