"Just wanted to shoot a quick update for the 186cm BG people who have
not yet received their skis/tracking number. I know there has been a
lot of questions when all the skis will go out since people a lot of
other people have gotten tracking numbers/received their skis already,
some of which even have days already on them.
Right before we left for the holidays we found a small
blem in the topsheet of a number of the billy goats. It was something
we didn't notice until we unfortunately started finishing the skis,
which is usually 1.5 days after they are pressed, so it cost us a good
number of skis. If you are getting this email, you are in this group.
Once we got back this week, we cut a few apart, figured out why we
were getting this blem between the tipspacer and core, tested the
adjustment in the layup, and are now pressing all the replacements. We
believe the blem started showing up because we were pressing a lot
faster than with some of the earlier pairs and the instant heat was
causing an issue we haven't seen before. With new years + the weekend
they will get picked up for shipping on monday.
Figured since we were cutting a few skis apart, I
would at least send out a photo billy goat construction so you guys had
an idea of what the inside of the skis look like.
If
anyone needs to change their shipping address (that hasn't already),
please let us know asap as we will start boxing/addressing skis
