i LOVE how stable these things are. They are a bit heavy for me to spin very fast with. but i can stop anything with alot of confidence! Carving was tons of fun too!

i never flinched while tearing though chunks of slushhy/icy snow...i was so confident that they would blast through everything. killington this weekend!!

Had a small scare today. Scott was briefly the conductor of 220V of electricity between a heat blanket and a ski press. Melted a screwdriver, not the rubber end. He's taking a little break, back to pressing early this morning.

That reminds me of the time I was working on a 454, not paying attention, and accidently made a nice little circuit with my wrench and the car battery. I couldn't feel my right forearm for about two days, it was pretty sweet.

Review time.

5'5", 150 lbs., solid skier.

171 Jeronimo mounted dead center with STH 16
This is my new everyday ski.  It's one of the most fun skis i've ever been on.  If you ski the entire mountain  it will blow your mind, or you can use it as a park ski.  I've spent most of my time on them in the park and they are amazing.  Perfect amount of camber underfoot to pop really well.  I hardly notice the rocker in the park.  A lot of people say having a rocker ski in the park takes away the pop... not with these skis.  They pop great.  I don't notice them skiing that much shorter than a normal camber ski.   I skied some crud with them as well as a lot of slush.  The dimensions mixed with the rocker make them awesome in both crud or slush.  This time of year everything is hard as a rock in the morning.. by noon it's 4 inches of slush.  The J-mos were good the entire
Not sure what else to say beside they absolutely slay anything from the park to some pow and anything in between. 

181 Caylor mounted dead center with FKS 18
This is the most playful pow set up i've ever had.  I was able to take them up to the Uintas today to do some mini golf stuff and they exceeded my expectations..  181 is the largest ski i've ever had, but center mounted they don't feel very big at all.  equal swing weight is nice.  The rocker is plenty in the tip, that even center mounted they don't want to dive at all.  I popped a few 180's and they did just what I wanted them to... stay on top of the snow without me having to drag my hands like a goomba.  you can just land like you're in the park almost and ride it out.  The snow was about 8 - 12 inches of windbuff/blower on a harder layer. 
I also skied them all over the entire mounted on a slushy day and had a blast.  Any center mounted ski to me feels really playful.  The flex was even and soft enough for me to butter them pretty effortlessly.  They turn better than I thought and they feel in control.  I think the 181 Caylor will be the ski I look forward to riding the most.  I want to hit a few BC jumps with them soon and see what else they can do.

If you ski a lot of park i'm sure it'll be dope.  They have symmetrical rocker based on the dimensions, so center mounting them should be about center running length.  But, even 2 cm back they'll ski really well in the park and still be able to handle pow well.

We're trying, doing a lot of troubleshooting with a heat blanket this weekend. Its what almost set our press on fire a few months back, you'll excuse us for being a little cautious with it I hope.

7 Wrens and a few Billy Goats on the docket, then 181 BS, 181 J-mo and 181 BS Rocker. Thats the order as of now, might change depending on how this heat blanket does.

if it makes you guys feel any better I had a day of full on rain at Killington in November, and have hit a few icy patches this year. plus this time last year I lived in Brooklyn, NY. no complaints overall though.

because i'm incredibly stupid and love wasting money and i live on the east coast so i like doing very stupid things because i, in fact, don't even ski. but please, everyone give me financial advice, it's why i use the internet

it was the worst season i can remember and i didn't ski much out west. i usually get like 15-20 pow days a year

besides, if i use any of those "pow" setups on hardpack the entire world explodes, so thank god i have race skis to fill the gaps.

but please, you have enlightened me. im gonna sell all my skis, buy a shit load of weed, and get some $100 park skis so i can go look like a douchebag and sit in the mt snow park all day. then will i be an ns'er?

once again, you attempt to be insightful yet you lack so much knowledge that you come across stupid

i cannot hold it against you for lacking information. it is the internet and we are surrounded by complete anonymity and lack of personal knowledge, yet i can hold it against you that you make assumptions and base your argument off that. how would you know that it makes me feel better? why would i do it for attention? why would my parents buy me shit? if you knew me, which you do not because it is the internet, you would not even think about those factors because you would understand the fact that they are so blatantly false

i have answered this question numerous times, and i am completely tired of it. i have exhausted all answers so many times that your stupid ass claims don't even merit serious responses.

i really don't understand why you care so much about my quiver. it is my money, i am legally allowed to do whatever i want with it. i choose to invest in skis, believe it or not, buying and selling skis and ski gear actually turns up a small profit if you are smart about it. whether or not you think it is financially responsible could not be less of a concern for me. i am not the one bringing it up all the time. i do what i want with my money, you do what you want with your money, why can't we just leave it at that

i am inclined to reserve all judgements, but i cannot figure out why it bothers you so much that i have many pairs of skis

tahoes, garbones, billy goats, and i use the race skis every day for training

skin a hill behind my house often on the dps with dynafits if i wanna take my dog out or get a little exercise

spats are more of a novelty item, i'm looking to sell them

caylors i just got a few weeks ago

my skis don't go unused
