OK, time for an update!
First, we're down to a few handfuls of skis for all of our orders, preorders and orders placed during production. Scott and I have a few more days of aggressive pressing before we can downshift a bit and build up our inventory. First, awesomely cool news - if you want a pair of 191 Wrens or the infamous 191 Cease and Desist, we can ship out a pair to you immediately, as we do have a limited stock of these skis.
Pressing: We're sending out the last of the 181 Caylors this week. All 191 Caylors are away. Currently our press is set up for the 171 J-mo, the other will be switched out to the 181 Wren tonight. We have started shipping 171 J-mos out - our first two pairs came out a bit stiffer than we wanted, so they went to two people who asked for custom stiff pairs. We're stoked on the change in layup thats made the 171 a bit softer, so we're going with that as standard for it. The first of the 181 Wrens will also go out this week, probably going to have the first pair of those go into the press early tomorrow morning. I may convince Scott to have a sip or two of some green PBR to celebrate the holiday while we work through the night, we'll see.
In other ON3P news, we've acquired a shrink wrapper, so as soon as we figure out the right size of wrapper for our boards, expect your pair to come in more plastic. Also, I'd just like to open it up to the general forums that we are looking for both a roommate for our three bedroom apartment in downtown Portland ($435 a month, check the regionals for full listing) AND some help over the summer. We already have a dedicated intern (wassup Riley!), but we need someone who's over 21 (to run machines, insurance stipulation). Preferred to have college education, engineering background would be sweet, or just shop know how, but you'll be learning a lot. And no, you wont be required to live at the shop like we have been doing for the last 6 months. Send me resumes at Rowen (at) ON3Pskis.com for either apartment or job interests.
