gonna start this off with what I have been calling these things the past few days, BEST SKI EVER. Coming from a racing background, the wren is a perfect daily driver for me, its basically a GS ski on steroids. They love to make wide open turns(thanks to the 30.5m turn radius)and are very stable the whole way through(thanks to the stiff flex through out). the large shovel and little bit of tip rocker make them an amazing off piste ski, they just blast through EVERYTHING in front of them. From moguls to sunbaked crud to warm slush to fresh untracked, they just charge right through everything without ever letting up. For the size of these sticks, they are not all that heavy, which is a plus for hikes due to my lack of upper body strength, and I've even seen a pair mounted up with dukes *cough David cough*, whom the owner said that the weight is fine for touring thanks to the blast of a ride you will have coming down. even at -9, they ski switch fine(shocking right?) so messing around on groomers is as fun as ever on these. And Scott, as David and I told rRowen many times this weekend, DO NOT CHANGE THESE SKIS IN ANY WAY FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY. They are perfect as they are, I fell that trying to make them lighter/thinner would compromise the stability of them, which is their best aspect. So if anyone out there is looking for a mid fat(i consider 113 that) charger for pow/daily driver, look no further then the 191(or 181 if your on the shorter side, but hey, dont be a pussy) wren, and have the most fun on skis you will ever have.

These had been sitting in the corner of my room for 2 weeks, mocking me while I waited for some bindings to arrive, and I didnt think I was gonna be able to get them on snow this weekend, but the bindings showed up friday afternoon luckily so I rushed out to mount these up, and am I glad I did. I had the same first impression that everyone had who saw/rode these, wow, they are amazing in every way. I like a playful park ski, so the flex was dead on for me. the rocker(tip/tail same as j-mo) is perfect for a park ski, it just makes butters and landing in slush super easy. If your worried about pop, dont be, these have some of the most pop out of any park skis on the market(ive ridden to many to name off), and they are light, like VERY light even with p18s. the swing weight is amazing, they are very stable, and over all just an amazing ski. 2 other NS kids(Dr.Derek and special_k10101) got to try them out, and they both seemed to like them very much, derek told me multiple times that he loved how light they are.Skiing to and from the park, or even just lapping groomers is not an issue on these. For a symmetrical park ski, they turn like a 165 SL ski, which i was shocked to notice, but makes them actually very enjoyable ouf of the park. So if your locking for a rockered park ski, that skis better then the competition, for less price, look no further then these bad boys.
