hey man. i live in ohio, it aint myt fault. i yell at my parents everyday that its there fault that i live here, and they have ruined my life by making me grow up here. gr them. but we try. we have some great skiers, we'll go up to ny or somin and be the best skiers there.
its all the snowboarders, because for most people its like this: if you are cool enough to ski, your cool enough to know not to be a poser

There are great skiers everywhere! Its just places like the midwest have a lot more crappy skiers compared to good ones. Proablly like a 98% crappy and 2% good ratio. Thats why we don't get much respect. BUt look on the brightside, u probally are in the top 1% in the state. Ok thats not saying much but you know what i mean.

i ski out of alpine (valley) very small.. northeast ohio. i live about 4 minutes away. and you tele jibber. and anyone in ohio?
yeah that is cool to know that i'm like good in the state though. but at camp, i'll see how i match up. :-( i'm scared.

i live in ohio but ski at perfect north slopes which is across the stateline in indiana

yea i live by cleveland but the only good places to ski are in ny like holiday valley bc nething anound here is like 500 foot vertical

I ski at Boston Mills/Brandywine the hill itself sucks but once we get the north bowl jump built up to like 5-6 feet it's all fun. And yeah, I tele/dh about 50/50 just becuase I can still have fun just skiing like normal on teles where I get bored on normal skis.

P.S.- For all the other ohio or around ohio skiers check out my site: www.gravity101.com it's pretty much just ohio skiers. Theres nothing there now except for a message board I started 3 weeks ago...But you can still register and I'll send some emails out when stuff starts happening.

I used to live in Dayton and used to ski all the crap slopes in driving distance. But who cares if it is crappy b/c a bad day of skiing is better than a good day of anything else! Long live manmade mountains and manmade snow!

heh, about skiing at places that have crappy skiers and no newschoolers or whatever, i dont know if this applies, but all you have to do is be good looking, throw down, have an attitude, and go after all the girls, and you'll be set

I used to live in silverdale washington it took 2 1/2 hours to get to the mountains now I live in Reno it takes 30 minutes now. life is rough

Yeah, I just usually can't make the 3 hour ride up to holiday valley and it's only plausible on weekends, I ski alot on week days...
