you guys don't know what your talkin about. the 1260s are not even close to as good of a ski (i've rode on both). The scratches aren't capped because they have a new construction, THC (triple hybrid core) that basicly means they don't break, or delaminate, and they are stiff. They have a sidewall slope of 30 degrees, which is unprecedented, and it makes them carve really, really smooth. both tips are 45mm, so you don't have to worry about catchin a tip. 110-80-103 (tip to tail sidecut). Unlike the 1260s these skis can go anywhere, the 1260s can't be skied out of the park. The 1260s are to soft, get the scratches. any more questions just message me

I have a pair of 1260's and i rode them in 24 inches of heavy washington pow. It wasnt the easiest thing but they worked. I would still like a stiffer ski but its all personal preferance

Any body who says you can't ski on the 1260s out of the park doesn't know how to ski. They just take about 1 run to get used to and it is fine.

Okay let me settle this... THEY BOTH SUCK!
The 1260s are worse, but the Rossis suck too
also the THC (triple Hybrid Core)
is just soemthing tanner Hall made up
THC is 'conincidently' the name of the drug in Marijuana... And the designers of the skis 'conincindently' smoke sooooooooo much weed
(not that thats a bad thing either)
^^^Drop into the Pipe and Smoke it^^^

umm. some one said they could ski the 1260 all the time, if you weight like 20 pounds and ski in your backyard. the skis are way too soft for anything but park, and if you think they are stiff enough for all mountain then you probably suck. also, the i now know two people who have both broken their scratch, both fs, in less than 2 or 3 days of skiing. i don't think they did a very good job making the scratch, but i have heard that it does kick ass until it breaks.

I haven't ridden this year's 12's but last years are waaay too soft. I have demoed a pair of scratches and they were in pretty good condition, they do kick ass. They have a lot of pop and pretty damn light, I skied the 174 and I'm 5'2' I actually landed my first 7 on them. As for THC (Triple Hybird Core) has been used in rossi snowboards for years, Tanner did not make it up. Besides Tanner doesn't smoke weed anymore, he gave it up after getting really good dude. Everyone just chill and ScratcH's kick ass.
