Mounting skis question

this may seem kinda dumb but its been bothering me. Ive got some FKS with an arm snaped off of one of the brakes. I was wondering if the shop is going to be lame and not mount them because of that or will I be fine? with my luck I just figured that i would get fucked over with that.

they will likely just replace the brake on your binding and then they will be fine

or just say you ordered a new brake and its coming to your place so your going to throw it on yourself when it gets there. how much of the brake arm is snapped off?

When I took my Salomon bindings off my Suspects (after 5 days riding), the heel piece disintegrated, and the brakes fell off, and I couldn't reattach them, because of the shitty little specialist screws Salomon use. So I have been riding brakeless for the last week or so.
