Free editing programs

I know there was another thread on this but there wasn't much in it plus i need something that is compatible for mac, if it would be safe or possible i have limewire to down load music and i have heard of people downloading programs from there as well, any help would be appreciated

transmission > thepiratebay.org > final cut studio 2

transmission is the torrent program i (and most other people with macs) use.
thepiratebay is where you find all the torrents
an FCS 2 is your editing program

i did all this and then when i went to go download it, it wouldnt download the torrent on transmission it just said it wasnt working
