Hey guys i was wondering if a 181 ski would be too big for me. Iam 5,10 135 pounds but i been skiing for about 14 years also the longest pair of skis i rode in was a 155 so i dont know how that would affect me
That's a pretty big leap... you could pull it off, but you might want to get one size smaller first, then maybe go with the 181s next year. Height wise your fine, but you're a little light so it might be challenging.
about 5'9 or 5'10, 175 lbs and im 17. i will be skiing a 181.
height wise, your fine, but your pretty light and young. its a lot of ski to handle and it may be to much for you,
im 5'8 and i ride a 177 which isint to far off from a 181 oh and im like 125lbs but jumping up from a 155 is gona be a really noticable difference i would go with somthing in the 170's then jump up after that
OP I went from 151cm skis to 173cm skis in one season. I was 5'2 and 110lbs at the time. You should be ok, it will take time to get used to obviously, but once you're used to the extra length you will be very happy with your choice.
