Like the top of the coping is flush with the top of the HDPE, I'll draw you a nice picutre.

Squares on outside are coping, middle is the HDPE. So when you`re sliding the box your skis will touch both copings and the HDPE.
I have had so many issues with coping on my boxes. It's making me want to give up.
I first tried with no coping. That sucked, always got caught on the plastic.
Then we tried to sand down the sides of the plastic so it wouldn't catch as much, that helped a little but we still got caught.
Then I just tried screwing in steel L-brackets onto the sides of the box, that did not work either. They were not flush so you would get stuck in the middle of the box and your skis would manage to get under the bracket.
I am going to try this PVC solution. Its so annoying because the box and the plastic works so well but I can't put any edge pressure on my box because I always catch.
Will post pictures of my setup later
