start the tight pants trend??

i personally dont like it but he seems like the only skier out they now with tight pants haha.

pretty soon we will have park rivalries between gangsters and punk emos.

just like skateboarding, could this happen?

There's more than just Max Hill wearing tight pants in the ski industry. The joystick team, Blake Nyman, and there's more but I can't think of any right now. I personally wear them, but Max Hill rocks them better than anyone I have seen.

from a thermal conduction standpoint, air is one of the least conductive materials you can get, baggy pants have more open space which means more air which means less heat loss through your legs. however, i dont find that much of a difference in warmth between my skinny jeans and my baggy jeans so i would imagine ski pants would be about the same. that being saidi think tight pants on the hill looks sick but ill stick to my baggy pants

i don't think there is a rivalry between these types of snowboarders... tight pants and baggy pants snowboarders are like best friends and are always shredding together... And there are quite a few tight pants skiers out there, which is great. Diversity is beautiful, i like to see many different styles on the hill.

Tight pants are here, and have been here, just look at snowboarding and skateboarding.
It'll catch on with skiing as more people join the freestyle community, and learn that just because a style may be different, doesn't necessarily mean it's not good. lets just hope more people who do wear tight pants or jeans don't get discouraged. But in my experience, the people who do rock tight stuff are pretty confident in themselves an what they like, so hopefully that wont be a problem.

well i havent worn my baggy jeans in ages, but i dont ever remember it being that bad, and i have never tried skinny snow pants up the mountain so i have no idea haha.

Over all it's a more fit look now than it was a few years ago. Really tailored, which I like. As long as it's not jeans I'm cool with whatever.

I agree, if every skier had super baggy clothing and everyone looked the same, skiing would be a pretty dull sport.
