jon olsen. he does some of the best tricks out there but thats the problem...he just does them..

up to last season imo lj's style looked forced ... dunno just seemed to try too hard to be steezy but didnt work ... my opinion ...

ill throw in my 2 cents to my own thread. ill prob get hated for this. even though Andy Parry has sick ass grinds and shit. He looks frail and his ride away seems weak.

jon olson, jon spriggs, andreas hatveit, tanner hall. to me though they are just natural styles, instead of the  forced thug make it look so easy bang every landing style looks kind of silly for 98% of the people out there.

Care to explain why you think it's good? Obviously he needed a little help from the some pros. Yes it might  have been a joke. But imo it falls under the category of him looking frail. I dont know who you think you are telling me to never post again on a social forum site. I would like to hear your opinion of why you think his ride away is good.

Yes i do. If you look totally sick in the air or on a rail and your landing/ride away looks like shit. I believe that you style lacks. Now i am no where near a pro or an expert. It is my OPINION. Obviously it is retarded to have your own opinions? O because maybe your the expert?

not to take away from the thread, but what makes a skier "stylish?"

sure one might say the steezy afterbangin thug trend, but what about unique style?
more and more im starting to realize it. Watch Jon Olsson. Sure he cant tweak the shit out of a grab like Elias Ambul sp? but his style is unlike anyone elses thus making it unique and creative. Some of the most "unstylish" riders just so happen to be the most innovative, because they arent afraid to be different.

Is this some kind of Joke, why is every one hating on spriggs, I have not watched him ski much but to me the few shots he had in reason stand out to me as being sick.

If I had to pick a pro park skier that has weak style.... given they are a pro park skier so they are one of the best at what they do in the world....   I would say Jacob Wester.  IMO no one has bad style, just different.  Jacob style is kinda like Jon's, whos I like, its a very straight forward, clean, and simplistic style.  Not my favorite but I like it and I like to see some different styles out there.  If everyone skied like Jon Borgan it would be sick for a day, then it would be like wtf this is dumb.  A vast selection of styles is best, I think everyone would agree.  Sorry for the rant

I have to agree that John Spriggs and Charles Gagnier don't have the smoothest style, but I love to see Charles ski because he always has something new to show, and he doesn't only do tons of switch ups everywhere.

I don't really think you can say someone is lacking style, because everyone has his own style and this is why it makes skiing so interesting because not every rider's the same... although i might have to say it seems like everyone's riding is starting to look the same with that afterbang thing going on.

I think we should value more the skiers with original stuff like b-dog's tailpress' or henitiuk insane nosepress'. Hornbeck's nollie 270 out's are also the sickest thing I've ever seen, along with his revert thing on landings.

spriggs, and im gonna get flamed for this, but henrik. he has really good style in his jumps and some of his rails, but im not a big fan of his hunched over steeze like in the nz edits. other than that the kid kills it.
