He was saying lsd is shortcut for people instead of meditating. To meditate on that level takes years and most people I feel are really to weak minded to put in that much ever, and actually achieve those levels.

You go it? And being Weak minded can affect psychedelic use.Some people are in control of there mind to the point where they can trip crazy hard, and ride out fine. Some people just can't handle the intensity and will lose their mind even on a smaller dose. For that idk if weak minded fits, but then it kind of does.

But yeah, I was replying to his thing about meditation.

This idea is a fail all around. First, doing it for the wrong reasons is never a good idea. I'm not saying it's going to harm you, but seriously, lsd is a tool, don't be an idiot with it.

As for tripping on lsd then coming back and debating the shit out of us, I laugh. Your going to realize that you really had no idea what you were talking about. Just like before in this thread where you kept telling everyone stuff like you knew what you were talking about, even when people kept telling you. I use to be all up on the altered state of consciousness boat and was well on my way to trying acid but was shipwrecked by a bad trip on shrooms in my 1st year at university. Used to love em, the conversations, the epiphanies, the closeness to nature, and the general hilarity of it all. Then, Halloween, thought a good day trip followed by a night of partying would be a good way to honor the Great Pumpkin. Long story short, took wayyyy too much (accidentally took nine grams instead of 4.5, I was high, I should've known better) and had the worst experience of my life for next 6-8 hours. Ever since, even with super small doses of shrooms I get the same feelings, which I would generally associate with guilt and overwhelming despair.

Sparknotes: took too many shrooms, had a bad trip, now i almost always have bad shroom trips due to feelings of guilt and despair.

Now, my question is this, will I inevitably experience similar negative feelings if I try, say, a 1/4 or 1/2 hit of LSD? Or, is the altered state different enough that I won't associate it with the craptastic effects that shrooms have on me?

I would say maybe but not because of that experience, well partly.

If you try a little bit you can get a feel for if you like it or not. a low dose of L is more an altered state of consciousness, things are different but they aren't . It's wierd. It's not like mushrooms where you know your tripping based on visuals.

But that experience could still affect you. If you take anything while being scared of having a bad trip, you are far more likely to experience one. A low dose of L is a pretty social thing for me though. I can have fun being around a bunch of people hanging out or whatever.

Idk man. it's up to you. I would def start small though. Make sure to put yourself in a good situtaion too. And if you start small you really don't have anything to fear, maybe that will ease your mind a little bit and help you to have a better time

mushrooms cause way easier bad trips than a small dose of lucy.

ps skiing on lucy will be the best day of ur life hands down. my experince skiing on l has out done any day iv ever had befor in 20 years of my life.

why not trip on the all chemical LSd? its amazing and its all chemically altered its not bad for the brain or spine, thats a myth. why not go into a spiritual realm you never thought existed? why not break all boundries of what you thought was possible? Why not go on the biggest adventure of your life at least once in your life with your best friends in nature?

Do you get what Im getting at? I love pot too but this is just a totally differnt thing and i mean if you smoke alot of pot its not like its a huge adventure everytime you smoke. Pot is kind of just part of my life i use hallucinogens for thinking deeper than one ever thought possible.

I had basically this exact same thing happen to me after a vial washout. People say you trip hard on washouts but I never expected anything like this. Luckily I had just gotten done driving but I lost all sense of placement and who I was and who I was with. And I started tripping balls in ten-fifteen minutes where as the same acid usually took me at least an hour to get going. I can still make the ground/walls pulse or breath or however you call it and see things out of the corner of my eye all the time. Especially when I get stoned the mindfuck sets in as if I'm still tripping. Kinda cool.. Kinda not at all.

Lucy is still one of my best friends though. Second to Mary.

It made me more willing to go out and meet people. I am a really tight lipped person sober and when I tried it the first time it made me realize putting yourself out there to meet people isn't that bad. Granted, I can do it now without drugs as I don't do them all that much anymore but that is one thing that has helped me.

I don't necessarily think that I am "better" than you, and I don't have any issue with your choices in life, its just when your choices affect me and when your group tries to project their ideas on other people.

Throughout this thread there was a sentiment that doing drugs was better than not, and anyone who denounced people for doing drugs was ridiculed and called a pussy. Its fine if you choose to ruin your life with drugs, but don't push that on those of us who choose not to.

I drink alcohol regularly, but thats not a hard drug and is not illegal in the united states.

I can understand why people do drugs to escape from their real lives, but i don't want to hear about it and be called out for not doing them.

Hmmm thinking about it..

Booze I drink to loosen up in social situations....

And I started doing Mdma because I was to shy/nervous to dance at clubs/parties i guess. And it helped me just not give a fuck...

I dont do any other drugs. Weed i found pointless and nothing stronger ever appealled.

But yer i think its purely To help me loosen up and because of it I have a much larger group of friends that I probably would have never spoken to otherwise. (I recently moved to Whistler from the UK and didn't know anyone)
