I posted this in NSG but I figured I'd throw it in here as well since it's all about working at a New York ski area. I decided to finally start a blog that I've been thinking about
doing for a while now. It's going to be about working in the industry
we all know and love. My hope is to
use my experiences to try and help kids out who are looking to get into
the industry some day. It was tough for me to really find good
information when I was working through my career search in college, so
I figured I would try to help some other people who may be going
through the same thing. I'll also be sharing some behind the scenes
sort of stuff that every ski enthusiast should know, but might not.
You'd be surprised at the amount of work it takes to keep an area
running so you can shred every day. I don't have all the answers, but
I'm really excited about sharing my experiences as a young guy in the
industry and possibly helping some people find their place in the
industry I love so much. So if you're interested, check it out and
leave some comments, I'd like to hear what you guys think. Hope you
enjoy it, peace...
