Working at Windells

I was thinking about applying for next summer.  There isn't much information on the site though.  Anybody worked there? Do they provide food/lodging free time to ski etc?

been working at windells for 3 years, its sick.  you get free food/lodging and access to sick on and off hill facilities.  some jobs also come with a free summer pass but not all.

oh yeah and depending on what job you have determines if you have time to ski.  jobs like counselors get to ski for most of the day but work in the evening at camp. coaches work on hill all day and dont really get too much time to ski without their kids unless they leave the hill early.  basically you either have a job that means you have to work on hill during the day and you get to ride on your own a little or you work in the evening at camp and can ride on your own all day.

The employment page isn't that informative. So if I wanted some ski time what jobs should I apply for? Im pretty open for anything minus counselor.

im 25.  the jobs you get to ski on your own without having to work would be kitchen crew, digger, inbetween counselor but only digger out of those 3 are guranteed to have a pass bought for you.

I really want to go out to mount hood next summer and work at either MHSSC or, preferably, Windells. How hard would it be to get a job at one of these camps without any connections?

pretty sure it's optional for most positions. Obviously they want some proof of skill if you're applying for a position like coach
