Adjusting rossi scratch heel piece? plus karma for help

I am wanting to slide my heel piece forward because my boots are slightly bigger this season. where should the boot sit when i have not yet clicked in the boot whith the heel piece still up? should i just take them to the shop?

If you're unsure, its probably better that you take them to a shop. Better to be safe than sorry when it comes to bindings.

^^ agree. If you still want to give it a go, take your boot and watch it click in. You should be able to see the heel piece more slightly back. This is the spring in the heel piece being compressed. If that makes no sense to you just go to a shop, they probably won't charge you unless they are jerks.
