i would rethink that boi, he can slay everything, I think sam is extremely underated, he is one of the best all around skiers, he can murder urban and park, and kill the bc. Can every other pro do that? NO. He is definetly top 3 all around skiers out there.

He's got a bag of really good consistent tricks, which makes him a really good comp skier and really attractive to sponsors, but he puts out mediocre film segments that seem to repeat themselves every year.

he slays for sure and has a nice bag of tricks but for some reason something about his style bothers me enough to not really like watching his shit, though I still do. He's definitley a good athlete though no doubt.

what the hell are you talking about. His segments in Reasons were killer. His segment in Re:Session was banger. not to mention he's podiumed at every preseason big air he's done this season. He might not be the best but he's up there and definitely over looked

I wouldn't say hes the best at any type of skiing but hes definatley one of the most well rounded skiers out there the kang he did in Austria last year was so nuts it was in a huge open face 2.

He's got sick style, way sicker than most other pros except maybe twall and casabon and a few others. The grab pokes are awesome and I like how he always seems to fully extend his body towards the landing during rodeos and such. One of my favorite skiers to watch for sure. I think he has better style than HH actually, at least while in the air. Probs not on rails.

alright after some thinking and watching sammy's segment in RE:Session again, I have come to realize sammy is one of the best. Just cuz we don't see him out in videos as much or read articles written about him does not mean he is not a top rider. His style all over the mountain is ridiculous and he wrecks wherever he goes. Sorry for the hasty first post. I have changed my mind and Sammy is one of the sickest.

Yeah, he destroys everything, all the time. Very enjoyable to watch him ski, he has really cool landings too. Plus he slays rails.

sammy is great for sure. awesome attitude about skiing also. good segments always and great to watch. but i wouldn't say he's the best or even top 3. i dunno who top 3 is at all. too many new pros who kill it.

Sam kills it. I've been watching him ski around Hood since he was a grom. He had one of the best segments in TGR this year. Also, "Can't Stop" was legit for his first movie. The kid has so much energy.

i just love watching sammy roll into a jump, somethin about the style of his skiing just makes me happy (no homo), and he has such a great attitude. he really represents skiing in a good way

and now that i think about it im remembering when i was at windells. he was there and just killin it on the big jump, and he came down just laughin everytime. and then he would basically do a run/hike up to hit it again

Not gonna lie jon olsson and pep fujas are crazy good at jumps and pow. I just dont think jon is even close to as good as sammy in the bc. tanner is def the best out of all of them and pep is not as good in park and urban as sammy is. jon and pep are very very good at what they like best about skiing but they just dont seem as well rounded to me. sammy is a crazy talented all around skier, id like to see him in ak.

I remember reading that Jon Olsson won some big mountain competition a few years ago in either Freeze,Freeskier, or Powder. You don't see Jon doing 540s or 180s in the BC, but apparently he is top notch when it comes to striaght-up BC riding. So Jon's definitley a well rounded skier, in fact he maybe the most rounded.

yep that was like 3 or 4 years back, but i think it was the Scandinavian freeski championships or something similar in title. definitely beat a talented field of big mountain guys.
