Tanner Hall ruined my friend's wedding reception

So anyway, it was my friend's wedding the other day, and the DJ for the reception cancelled at the last minute. My friend was getting really stressed, so I said that I would DJ. I have no knowledge of DJing, or any vinyls, so I just hooked up my Macbook to the sound system, and played songs from my iTunes.


Anyway, when it was time for the slow dance, I played Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight', as requested. It's a long song, so to kill some time, I decided to go on NS for a bit.

I inadvertently scrolled over the Tanner Hall advert. And so, the romance was shattered by Tanner Hall announcing, at full volume, that he was 'getting a little salty'.

In my haste to close the window, I accidentally minimised it, allowing Tanner to complete his repertoire of phrases.

So, the enduring memory of my friend's wedding will be Tanner's salty body being announced to all present.

that sucks a lot but its pretty funny hahahah

once at school i was on ns and tanner yelled "im getting a little salty" really loudly... so i closed the window. i bet everyone thought i was watching gay porn or something.

I'm sure that we would all rather have ns with ads then no ns at all. Do you really think they just put ads up for the hell of it? Ns gets money for having ads. The THall and Simon ads aren't even that bad. Stop bitching. If you don't like the ads on ns then GTFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sucks you don't have your computer setup with ASIO or whatever. I have my DJ Console RMX hooked up with Traktor using ASIO, and I don't hear any windows sounds. Only what is played in Traktor.


I think you ruined your friends wedding.

I know. But I panicked. At one point, I actually thought about just pushing the Macbook off the stand, that's how shit-up I was.

His voice was SO LOUD though, as you'd expect, I mean it is Tanner.

this happened in my econ lecture. I was sitting there just reading NS while my teach is going off, and out of nowhere "im getting a little salty" blasts on my laptop, it was awkward.


and fyi, its vinyl, not vinyls.
