So I was thinking that NS should have a safguard to people posting ridiculous amounts of threads (see the latest "ijejhruxkkdhdk" thread problem). For instance in the website code you could say something such as
" for any one username; if the number of threads created is >= 5 and the total time between thread5 and thread1 is

Weird, I previewed that and it worked. There was a problem with the symbols I guess?

" for any one username; if the number of threads created is (greater than or equal to)5 and the total time between thread5 and thread1 is (less than or equal to) ten minutes then: disable thread creation for (ip address)"
Obviously that's not code, I just tried to make it so anyone could understand it.
Alternately, you could set it to automatically ipban the member. Just an idea. Thoughts?

That would be useful as well. Maybe an who search for your thread title, after you type it, and a list of any results within a few months pops up in a seperate window?

I think that you should type your thread title in then maybe you have to hit "continue" and it searchs for you.

This is an excellent idea. Although I occasionally go over 5 new threads a week. which could become a problem. I'd support this all the way. Maybe have it set-up to like 6 threads a week or 10 or something a week. And if you need to exceed the limit you must contact a mod about getting your thread approved. Does that make sense?
