Will Jiberish Restock their shelves?

Hey guys, i searchbared, didnt find anything, sorry if this is a repost, but im just wondering if jiberish is ever going to restock their shelves online before their spring stuff comes out.

its not that I want them to be the next DC. personally think there designs are nothing special to me. BUT. they cost 100 dollars. Who the fuck pays that much for a sweatshirt. Also they don't give you stickers for shit. there stickers. they cost like 4 cents or less a piece to make. and if kids want them its free mother fucking advertisement for them. Company is retarded for not giving out stickers. Just buy first drop. its more legit and looks way sweeter. only 45 bucks imo. Also a lot of the ski companies have there own line up of hoodies and sweatshirts that look way better in my opinion.

Jiberish is poorly made my cord level 1 hoodie the pocket completely tore when it got stuck to a door knob and my grey mfg got a 5 inch rip in the middle the 2nd day i got it when i was getting off the lift

although i agree that jiberish isn't anything too too special, i mean they're hoodies, pretty good quality i guess but not AMAZING like everyone preaches about, and they're very expensive

oakley hoodies run $75, and you can find them all day long. any high end brand will cost $100, go to macy's and look at some lacoste hoodies and talk to me about $100 price then.

But I find Jiberish to be slightly retarded here. I understand they want to remain equisite and rare, but they also complain that they don't make any money, I shouldn't say complain, But they have stated they haven't turned a profit yet. And you guys are still paying $100 for a hoodie made next to "Woo Ling Chong" who made the $13 Nike 7-11 hoodie earlier that day.

They sell out then they don't restock, thats their own damn fault. Although they don't want to be like Oakley where come April they have 270 unpurchased hoodies they expected to make $92.50 or $88 a hoodie from and now you find them on Tramdock for $37.50 and whats the fun then?

I like the fact they are rare, it doesn't bother me they cost $88, thats the cost of a equisite brand now a days.

when you buy jiberish, saga, etc you're not paying for quality (even tho you get it) you're paying for the exclusiveness of wearing it. You're paying for the fact that you'll be one of the few if not the only person you know that owns that piece of clothing.

Its all about status, when you buy a certain brand you're stating what you look for in a company.
jiberish, saga etc = underground, you know your stuff
Burton= you just wanna fit in
spyder, under armor = you want ppl to know your wearing minum of 2 polos under suit
first drop, LDc = up and coming brand, you know whats new
Orage- You know what is the best

I totally understand the "exclusiveness" of a limit supply but Jiberish opened a store in Denver. I've been there, Ive seen it. What do you think they are gonna stock their shelves with if they run out of product? Im not saying I know anything about their plans, Im just saying they are paying rent on a storefront, so I can only assume they will keep enough product in stock to keep the cost of running a store worthwhile.

my guess is they can do smaller production runs of t-shirts and hats and other items that will be exclusive to the retail store.  They can also do limited colors that are only available in-store

No, me, much like shintastic48 I believe are not lucky enough to use mommy and daddy's credit cards to buy all of our clothes.

When I buy clothes, I go to the bargain bin/online closeout sales of RVCA and other things like that. An even then I only get one or 2 for a couple years which means about 60 total for two. Normally, I buy from Duluth Trading Company and get a couple shirts for like $20.

Too Panda shaped for most of the skiing clothes in the world. Part of the reason I am at the mountain wearing stuff like TapouT, RVCA, and MMA shirts cause they make nice big shirts that fit my pandaness.

I'm tired of a bunch of wannabe pro noobs making threads; "where can i get j crown stickers???", "Jibberish stickers???", "some guy payed 200 dollars for a j crown sticker!", ect. It's retarded. Somebody said people who wear jibberish are either really good or really bad. thats true to a point unkown. Another person said people who pay for there ski gear. so true too. i got a sick(er) hoodie for skiing half the price of jibberish. /rant

Pete was kind of torn by this conundrum.  He has a few of everything in the store, but he doesn't want kids to raid it in 3 days and then close until next winter.  It's supposed to be a concept store first and foremost.  I wouldn't count on them restocking the jackets and crew necks.  They do have new products in the works already that I'm sure will be used to keep the store constantly interesting, so we will see what happens.

Pete knows that keeping the product limited keeps the demand very high (I think he said they only made 100 of the Aristocrat this year but don't quote me on that), as well as the satisfaction of those who buy it to be the only kid at their mountain to wear it.  He knows this will pay off in the long run, since no one likes to see 15 people wearing the same thing.  They haven't made a profit yet (45,000 in the red last year, and the Jungle Cat costs pretty much what they sell it for with all those custom patches), but the general estimate with new businesses with high production cost is that profits come after about 5 years.  I hope his determination to keep Jiberish exclusive to the skiing world pays off for him in the end.

In the end, I like their product, and I like Pete and the athletes associated with the company as well.  If I didn't, I wouldn't waste my life bitching about it on NS (since if I didn't own it, then this wouldn't concern me...)  They love skiing and the culture they have established within their company, and I appreciate that in a company.  So why did I pay $85 for my Hatchman this year instead of $47 for an Oakley hoody that I liked the design of?  Because when I went into the Oakley Vault to try it on, it was too short, felt cheap and thin, wasn't warm at all, and the vibe was lame since the clerk was wearing the same one I came in to find.

By the way, to all of the people complaining about the jackets ripping....it's cloth...not outerwear.  WTF do you expect?  Use some common sense, if you crash it's gonna tear.  If it gets caught on metal, it's gonna tear.

And everything in the Oakley Vault was gaper crap.  The hoodies are not much warmer than a polo shirt.  Get real.

I didnt really read everyone else's input but it seems pretty stupid to not re-stock. i read in the interview that they havent turned a profit since they started...maybe its because your not selling enough product. just a thought.

its called event forcasting and a business plan.  Every company has at least a five year plan.  They are in the process of buildig a brand name and company image.  Almost every single comapny ever made does not show profit in the first 3 years.  Have you ever read a business magazine? let alone taken a single business course?

if you got something at the oakley vault, it definitely is NOT this year's clothing. Oakley vaults sell stuff from past seasons for super cheap.

And I know every company has a 5 year plan, my dads company has a 8 year plan. But in this kind of economy I just would never pay that much for a hoodie, even when the economies good I won't pay that much. Idk maybe I should stop fighting with richer people than myself because all they have to is flash there cash and win any fight. But good for you guys for making mad bank. Wish I could've.

Although I personally wouldn't pay 100 dollars for a hoodie, I can definitely understand their business model. When you buy a "premium" piece of clothing, chances are it's not that much better made than some generic brands of clothes. What you're paying for in this case is the "right" to wear something so exclusive/sought after that no one else has it. And if they make a ton of their clothing, then it loses its exclusivity, and therefore some of its value, both to the consumer and the business

I don't really get the sticker thing though, that seems like kind of a dick move. If kids love your company so much that they're willing to pay 200$ for a J-Crown sticker, I'd just give one out free with every order or something. "Exclusivity" shouldn't really apply to stickers...

I know what that stuff is worth, you didn't just find it on the street.  Don't be hypocrite on your ignorant pedestal.  I will defend this company with my free time, I like the guys associated with it.  You however have just been bitching about something that you probably haven't ever even owned (you know, since you can't afford it right?).

I'm never bitched about its quality. I bitched about stuff that can legitimately be scrutinized. never said anything about there quality now did I. and yeah a really warm jacket thats cheaper than a hoodie is a good deal in my opinion. 35 dollar hoodies that look sick(er) are doin fine for me.

And can we please stop fighting. This shit is retarded. We both look like 5 year olds here.
