NWS predicts a potential 19 feet of snow in the Sierras this week. I know we won't get that much, but I have a feeling the whole mountain will be open real soon.

u didnt get the memo? after a few very large years in utah, and they hype got too big, utah is taking the winter off. its broken. no snow this year. maybe next season if you are still around.

ok, but you have to think of it to scale, we got 7 inches all of last year, so 5" to us is like oh lets say 400" to Utah

My home mountain in southern California is supposed to get 2 feet of snow this upcoming week alone. Normally we get almost no snow. Already have a 30 ft true table setup, gonna have even bigger soon. Gonna be a good season.

I skied at PCMR today and it was freezing. It was windy and cold with flat light. It sucked... BAD. Gods of the mountains PLEASE MAKE IT SNOW!

Alta doesn't juice numbers at all, usually they report less than they actually have. Anytime Alta reports more than 4 inches it means face shots.

This is very true Altas is kinda old school and most of the people who work there get to ski there so when its snowing they want as little people as they can get. I mean lets face it Alta is in no danger of closing because theres not enough business and they probably never will.
